Deposits

Minimum deposit of 25% is due at time of booking. Deposit amount will vary due to package selected. Full amount due must be paid in completion no later than 60 days prior to the event. If the amount is not paid in full 60 days prior, the event is liable to be cancelled. 

Cancellations, Adjustments, and Refunds

All cancellations regardless of time frame result in a $225.00 nonrefundable administrative fee which will be withdrawn from the refund portion of the deposit. If the event is cancelled 90 days or more before the event date, the remainder of the deposit will be refunded in full. Event cancellation 60 days prior to the event will result in a 50% deposit refund. Cancellations 30 days or less forfeit their deposit. Any additional payments processed towards total amount due will be refunded in full to the guest. 

If the guests request to have the event rescheduled with a 30 day or more prior notice to scheduled event date, Moon River Ranch will reschedule the event at no charge to the guest. If notified less than 30 days prior to scheduled event date, there will be a 10% total booking cost accommodation charge for adjusting the event date. This fee will be processed on the date of adjustment. Rescheduling will be determined based off availability of the ranch for desired dates.

Adjustment rates and charges are for Moon River Ranch and cannot be held applicable to our preferred vendors. Any questions regarding their adjustment rates must be requested through them directly. 

Inclement Weather Cancellations

Though we cannot predict the weather, we are understanding in events that face some of the extremes that it can create. If extreme weather i.e. tornados, hurricanes, snow, ice/hail, threatens to cancel your event, we can offer to postpone your event by 7 days. If the ranch is not available within that time frame, we will make additional accommodations, as necessary. 

We are not liable for any decision to cancel your event in case of rain. If available, we will provide an in-door option for an additional fee.  

We are not liable for any additional charges that may be incurred through our preferred vendors caused by moving/adjusting the event.

Disclaimer

Moon River Ranch shall not be deemed responsible for its failure to perform its contracted duties due to untimely weather conditions, equipment failure, unforeseen events that inhibit or otherwise affect performance, or other circumstances beyond its control. Client agrees to hold Moon River Ranch, its employees, and any subcontractors harmless from all liabilities, claims, damages, and expenses related to the services arising out of this agreement.

Moon River Ranch reserves the right to use any original photography or videography that is acquired for events on the ranch. Further, we reserve the right to use the original photos or videos or reproductions of such for any display or promotional purposes for Moon River Ranch.

At Moon River Ranch we are always eager and happy to welcome you and your pet(s) as our guests. We offer a unique pet friendly getaway to those who want to share the 550 acres of wilderness with their furry friends here in the heart of Texas.

Please take a moment to become familiarized with our Pet Policy. Be advised that our Ranch is home to a wide range of exotic species and our own ranch dogs, so we kindly ask that you always keep your pet on a leash while exploring the ranch. There will be an initial $250.00 refundable deposit for your furry friends.

There will be an additional pet fee to accommodate your furry guests of $35 a day per each cabin! We ask that you please bring your own doggie bags and be sure to do your duty after your pet does theirs. During your stay at Moon River Ranch, please take note of the following pet guidelines:

• Your pet MUST always be kept on a leash, except when you are in your private room.
• For all safety purposes, please do not leave your pet unattended on the property at any time during your stay.
• Please avoid inconveniencing other guests by keeping barking to a minimum.
• Please clean up after your pet. Trash receptacles are provided in each house or around the facility. 
• If there is any permanent damage due to furry guests, we ask that you contact us immediately so that we can address the accident. 
• Please consider bringing a kennel for when you leave the dog unattended. 
  • Note: All Service Dogs are welcome at no additional cost, we do however ask kindly that your furry guest adheres to the above guidelines for the safety of all animals and guests visiting the ranch.
